The fourth (I believe) in the series of albums from this US horror/gore band which this time actually features a life-sized human drummer instead of a computerized one . If you're familiar with Mortician's style of brutal death with lots of splatter , gore & horror , then this is the album for you to get ... Comparing Mortician to other gore bands such as Cannibal Corpse or even Necrophagia is really unfair , as each has their own unique style (Mortician's to me is more towards what early Napalm Death was) but anyway , 'Chainsaw Dismemberment' is an excellent fucking blast from the past , back to the good old days of 'Night of the The Living Dead' & the now legendary 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre' filled with lots of delicious tit bits extracted from various horror movies such as 'Friday the 13th' etc . Moving on , 'Chainsaw Dismemberment' is an extremely fast paced , brutal album which will definitely delight all hard core fans of gore as well as fans who prefer their music simply hard , fast & brutal with a sense of humour ... Definitely one of my all time favourite horror death metal albums which scares the shit out of me (not !)
